丁維欣 博士

美國阿拉斯加安格拉治大學藝術教育教授,俄亥俄州立大學藝術教育博士,主修博物館科技和以社區為本的藝術教育。她致力於將垃圾轉變為資源,喚醒民眾注意以「減量」和「重複使用」處理廢棄物,因而在2013年獲得阿拉斯加安格拉治大學校長所頒發的永續傑出獎。她從2014年展開「冬日設計」計畫案,從全新的觀點看待冰與雪,藉此探索並創造出戶外的冬季空間。她最新的研究案是關於發展永續旅遊計畫,包括本於地方的藝術、公民科學、戶外活動等。

Herminia Din, Ph.D.

She is professor of art education at University of Alaska Anchorage. Holding a Ph.D. in art education from Ohio State University, she specializes in museum technology, and community-based art education. She received 2013 UAA Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Sustainability for her efforts on the Junk to Funk project to raise awareness of the “reduce” and “reuse” methods of dealing with waste products. She began the Winter Design Project in 2014 to explore and create an outdoor winter space by looking at “ice and snow” from a new perspective. Her most recent project focuses on developing sustainable tourism programs including place-based art, citizen science and outdoor activities.

貝德瑞博士(Darrell Bailey)是印第安那-普度大學於印第安那波利市分校(Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis)音樂與藝術科技系教授。他獲得歐柏林音樂學院的管風琴演奏與音樂的雙學士學位,以及音樂教育的碩士學位。他于伊利諾大學香檳分校主修「以電腦科技教導音樂」,並獲得教育博士學位。

貝博士曾仼教于歐柏林音樂學院及印第安那大學布魯明頓校區。此後,他於印第安那-普度大學印第安那波利市分校創立音樂系,並擔任系主任。該系設立了全美國第一個音樂科技的碩士學位,貝博士並批准設立了博士課程。他創立「新媒體課程」學程並擔任印第安那大學資訊學院執行副院長,這是全美國第一個資訊學院。在這個職位上,他監督從大學部到博士班的十二個新學位課程的設計發展,並規劃資訊學院系館的學術設備與空間。他同時是印第安那大學護理學院的兼任教授。

貝博士的學術興趣包括編輯與北極地區議題相關的書和文章,開發中國家相關於音樂、藝術、人文醫療工作的環境永續議題,以及亞洲藝術與文化。他目前音樂科技的研究著重在如何以音樂科技增進對音樂史的理解。

貝博士教授過的課程包括音樂欣賞、音樂教育心理學、電腦音樂科技、媒體藝術與科學(新媒體)、聲樂教學、鍵盤即興、合唱,並曾指揮大學層級的合唱團。他是音樂欣賞教科書 Music Listening Today(1999 年初版)  聆賞指導手冊的開發設計者,並于 2016 年與 Charles Hoffer  合著  Music Listening Today  的第六版。該教科書使用他所開發的 MindTap  環境,整合了進階教導與學習的線上資源。此教科書被全美國的各大學廣泛使用。貝博士並且有豐富的線上教學經驗。他為印第安那大學開設了第一門完整的線上課程 Music for the Listener.  此課程學生幾乎來自全世界各大洲。

貝博士是活躍于樂壇的管風琴家和指揮,熱愛分享管風琴和合唱音樂。他的演出曲目包含了 Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, Widor, Dupre, Brahms, Ives, Hindemith, 及其他重要作曲家的作品。貝博士足跡遍及超過 25 個國家,國內外的講座主題包羅萬象,包括「在發展中國家使用行動科技進行膝蓋和髖部手術置換的患者紀錄」。他對全球音樂教學和學習,以及使用社交網路工具的洞見,為學生提供了豐富的現代化及線上經驗。他是現場音樂演奏體驗的宣導者,他認為這個經驗是非音樂主修學生終生愛好音樂的重要因素。

Dr. Darrell Bailey

Darrell Bailey is professor of music at Purdue University School of Engineering and Technology in Indianapolis. He began studying piano at an early age and organ in high school. He earned a B.Mus. in organ performance, a B.A. in   music, and an M.M.T in  music teaching from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. He holds an Ed.D. from  the  University of Illinois. Dr. Bailey taught at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and at the Indiana University School of Music. Later, he was the founding director of the music program of the IU School of Music in Indianapolis, founded the new media program at Indianapolis, and was the founding executive associate dean of the first School of Informatics in the United States.

Professor Bailey has extensive experience in online teaching and learning. He is co-author of the sixth edition of Music Listening Today by Hoffer/Bailey (© 2016 Cengage), a music appreciation textbook used extensively in colleges and universities. His was the first  course developed using  Indiana University’s Course Networking, a global learning management  platform.

Dr. Bailey has traveled extensively internationally. His insight into music teaching and learning using social networking tools provides students with rich contemporary lecture and online experiences. He is an advocate of the live music performance experience as a major component in building a lifelong engagement with  music for students who are not music majors. His current research interest is to advance an understanding and appreciation of the pipe organ for young people.
